Katakana - loan words

The Japanese language contains a large number of loan words that are borrowed from other languages, especially English. These words are sometimes abbreviated versions of the original. For example, remote control turns into RIMOKON (remocon) in Japanese. Loan words are written with Katakana.

The worksheets have three sections: (1) Katakana, (2) English, (3) Katakana and English.
