The "zentrum" is unique in its friendly and welcoming atmosphere; its curriculum is entertaining and its results are excellent. Our school cooperates with language schools throughout Germany and abroad, offering full year programmes at reasonable tuition fees. Our programmes are officially recognized and certified. Helmut Thiel answers our three questions
Founded in Frankfurt in 1981, the "zentrum für deutsche sprache und kultur" offers effective German language instruction and helps to learn about different cultures. Helmut Thiel, the head of the language school, and his team welcome students from all over the world.
Mr. Thiel, what is so special about your language school?
"We offer all levels: from beginners' to advanced. Compact classes are designed for students who wish to study the German language on a regular basis in the course of several months. Our classes will develop your linguistic comprehension in terms of reading and listening, you will train your communicational abilities as well as phonetics and your grammar skills. You can combine compact classes with an additional programme. Every wednesday there are cultural activities and linguistic training programmes."
How do you use Comprehencia in your school?
"Our students can access and learn the vocabulary of our German classes with Comprehencia online. It is a nice feature that the word lists are available in multiple languages, so that students from different countries can study the German vocabulary in their mother tongue."
Do you have an advice for language learners?
"If you already have basic knowledge in German you can use our online text book to further improve your proficiency. In addition, extend your vocabulary with Comprehencia. The best way to master the German language is, of course, to attend a good language course in Germany."
